Greg L. Fontela

Greg L. Fontela is an attorney with the firm providing expertise in the fields of land entitlements and real estate development. He handles a wide variety of real estate matters, with a focus on land use and zoning entitlements and tackling issues related to regulation across the entire real estate development and operation process. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fontela served as Assistant General Counsel at REEF Technology, managing regulatory compliance and strategy across the company in conjunction with business counterparts to more than double the footprint of novel mobility, logistics, and neighborhood kitchens functions on parking lots and underutilized private property throughout the country. Previously, Mr. Fontela worked as a land use and zoning attorney at Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes in South Florida, representing real estate developers, landowners, institutional clients, and lenders to cover all aspects of local and state real estate permitting and licensing, including zoning approvals, amendments of local government comprehensive plans, due diligence reviews, and environmental matters. He is a graduate of Columbia University, B.A., 2011, and the University of Miami School of Law, J.D., 2015. Mr. Fontela is a member of the Florida Bar.
