Lawrence J. Diamond is an attorney at the firm with more than thirty years of experience in commercial real estate law. Mr. Diamond handles a wide variety of real estate matters, with a focus on the acquisition, disposition, financing, re-development and leasing of retail properties and neighborhood fulfillment centers. Prior to establishing the firm, Mr. Diamond was General Counsel to Rendina Companies, a national real estate development company, where he had legal responsibilities for over $1.5 billion in transactions involving more than three million square feet of office, retail and mixed-use projects. Previously, Mr. Diamond was in private practice for several years as a real estate attorney with Gunster in West Palm Beach as well as Schulte, Roth & Zabel in New York City. Before practicing law, Mr. Diamond was a certified public accountant in New York City with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a graduate of New York University, B.S., 1986, and Fordham University School of Law, J.D., 1991. Mr. Diamond is a past Board President of the South Florida Chapter of JDRF, a global leader in type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy. He is also a member of the Florida Bar.
